Mandatory travel spend
Fare, luggage, seat or payment fees, transfers, and required overnight or meal costs.
Compare the price that reaches the destination, not just the fare shown first.

Enter both offers. Optional time value is shown separately so it never masquerades as a paid fee.
Fare, luggage, seat or payment fees, transfers, and required overnight or meal costs.
Time differences stay visible even when you choose not to assign them a monetary value.
Totals are divided consistently so group size does not hide a poor-value option.
Recheck airline rules, baggage dimensions, connection protection, and refund terms before paying.
| Input change | Where it appears | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Add one checked bag per traveler | Mandatory cash total | A low headline fare can lose its advantage for a group |
| Use a secondary airport | Transfer and traveler-hours | The ground trip can add both money and usable-day loss |
| Separate-ticket overnight | Overnight or meal total | A hotel may be required even when the flight itself is cheaper |
| Set time value to zero | Cash comparison only | Time remains visible without being converted into a fee |
The arithmetic uses one currency and does not convert live exchange rates. Refund flexibility, missed-connection protection, and fare conditions stay qualitative because they are not interchangeable with cash.

Use the responsible authority, operator, airline, airport, or provider for the final check before booking or travel.
Illustrative values for two travelers in one currency.
Option A: fares 220 x 2 + bags 60 x 2 + fees 15 x 2 + transfer 45 = 635. Option B: fares 285 x 2 + included bags + transfer 15 = 585.
Option B costs 50 less and saves four door-to-door hours per traveler. At an optional time value of 20 per hour, A adds 160 and B adds 0 to the comparison, widening the evaluated difference to 210.
Option B wins on entered cash and time, but it is not automatically the better booking. Compare refund rules, operating carrier, baggage dimensions, airport, and connection protection on the live offers.
If costs use different currencies, conversion timing can reverse a small difference. If a self-transfer fails, the calculator cannot price the replacement flight or lost accommodation. Convert every quote on the same date, then use the Booking Checker before payment.
