Source hierarchy
Official government, regulator, airport, public-transport, public-health, and tourism sources are preferred for rules and public information. The provider responsible for a commercial service is preferred for its current price, schedule, allowance, availability, and terms. Maps, reviews, and independent guides can add context but do not override an official rule or provider contract.
Airline baggage
Official operating-airline baggage pages, booking disclosures, and baggage calculators are preferred. The marketing carrier, operating carrier, fare, cabin, route, status, and special-item policy can change the answer, so a static summary never guarantees airport acceptance or a fee.
Flight rights
Official regulators and legislation portals are preferred, including relevant EU, UK, U.S., Canadian, or local authorities. Airline pages can explain claim channels and current procedures. TripPlanWise organizes evidence and questions but does not decide legal eligibility or claim outcomes.
Currency and travel money
Currency tools identify the reference-rate provider when conversion is available. Reference rates are planning inputs, not guaranteed transaction rates. Travelers should verify card markups, ATM charges, cash-exchange spreads, taxes, and provider fees with the institution completing the transaction.
eSIM and connectivity
Device manufacturers and mobile or eSIM providers are preferred for compatibility, lock status, included countries, network access, hotspot limits, speed, fair-use terms, activation, and support. TripPlanWise does not publish paid provider rankings as objective fact.
Destination planning
Official tourism, airport, transport, weather, immigration, and attraction sources are used where possible. Neighborhood guides, maps, and traveler reports can help with context, but current entry, safety, opening, ticket, and transport information must be checked before booking.
